I don't have any statistics on that, but I do know a guy who went from rags to megariches and fame and could bang all the super models @SimpleMeLike are dreaming of and still committed suicide. It's not bullshit. It's true. So, are you saying you're not happy right now? You do seem to have a positive attitude, so I'm sure you're already pretty happy as it is. What things would you be doing when you get rich that you can't do now that would make you happy? Funny thing is I was reflecting a bit on this over the weekend and discussing it with my friends as we were hanging out. If I were RICH - I wouldn't have done much else this weekend anyway. I had all I really wanted. Hanging out, drinking nice wine and eating good food out. Okay, if I were rich maybe I'd pick up everyone's bill and we'd drink wines even more expensive, but that wouldn't really tip the scale, would it? Sunday morning I was all alone (which I LOVE) and read while drinking my morning coffee not doing anything else or having any other plans for the day. If I was loaded, I wouldn't have done it differently. There's plenty of other stuff I'd do that could make my life better if I became rich, but they wouldn't make me happy as I already am happy. Yeah. I agree that those should be on the list. Actually forgot to put them there as I was remembering stuff I did back then when I was depressed. I thank you for the good wishes, but this was a long time ago and I can say that I have zero such issues today. I'm not rich either, but like we both figured out money ain't much to do with happiness assuming you have your base expenses covered and roof over your head.
Trading is not stressful, I like it and it doesn't require a lot of time . I do all those things , it's how I've coped before . I really have no clue how to have fun, I used to, one time I fucked a stripper and afterwards I nearly passed out in pain I was in agony couldn't even see straight my back was so fucked up and I was running on pure adrenaline. The other day this girl was making provocative gestures and i was the only one In the place but she's 20 years younger and her mom manages the place I was like wtf is this a trap? I don't know what's wrong with me I see sexual reproduction as yes fun but just a stupid ass ponzi scheme of suffering that nature came up with . Can't live forever ? I know! The news has gotten me all fucked up. Had a dream of a nuclear blast the other night. Haven't watched any videos of that in years . Day after I watched a nuclear blast Sim and it was almost exactly like I saw in my dream
When I was depressed I was very fragile. It would hurt just to watch people being sad on a TV show. So, little to no news and no negative TV shows. I suggest tuning out all that stuff for a while. It doesn't really matter anyway.
Thats not really rich these days sadly, i make nearly that after tax just as a software developer. I would suggest $500K a year after taxes as a minimum aim.
Hello Millionaire, I agree. $500K minimum is a good amount. That is why I need trading income to go to $400,000 per year minimum. but I got some ways to go to get there. I am working on it.
