Obviously in order to start more business formations....this takes lots of entrepreneurs who have some change....

What the US needs to do....which will never happen under the newly clearly socialist Obama regime....by the way who is really president....Pelosi, Frank, or Obama ? Is Obama not just simply Pelosi's mouthpiece ?

    Deeply cut spending....

    Deeply cut taxes......

This means a tax structure change that will quickly promote businesses....This means some folks having some change....

What would do this ? A 10% consumption tax only....

What will not do this....an even more progressive structure....which only makes government bigger and the private sector smaller....

$250,000 is not a lot of money to start businesses....and particularly when the banks have clammed shut....

What the US needs now more than ever is more capital and lower taxes for the "private side " to start new businesses....

Just look at what is happening in Venezuela....Chavez has taken Steel, rice, land, cement, oil...and more...and has lopped three zeros off and renamed the currency....and will have to depreciate again....soon....

The US banks have blown their entrusted deposit base....

It is gone....The US has to be rebuilt....The US...if it wants to recover quickly has to dramatically shrink the size of government and taxes....this is very very simple....

    Or hello Euro-Japan....

And from the looks of things to date....Euro-Japan is a certainty...

Never before in the history of the world has a country gotten better off by printing money and dead end jobs...Never....and it is not going to be any different this time around....

By the way....in the not so distant future an expensive US stock will be $20.....with most below $10....if radically different decisions are not made from the political morons in DC....

This is not a drill....this is economically surreal....

Bernanke has been wrong 24 months in a row....
Geithner batched Indonesia via the IMF...
Summers was trying to sell CDOs to sovereign funds after they started to fail...

The rescue package is a "stale Pelosi pork package" which will spend enormous sums for dead end pittance pay type jobs....

The list is just getting longer and longer....

The only positive in the whole Obamarama is Volcker...and he is being ignored....

Hey does want want a job greasing wind props, shoveling rocks for a lifetime ? Or does one want to be part of a "real company" with real pay and a real future ?...

Right now the US needs capital formation and lower taxes....

Otherwise have your government employee cards ready when you walk through the entrance gate.....if you can get one....with your yellow govt jumpsuit and helmet on....with pictures of Obama on billboards....

  2. Sad, but true. At least in your scenario, the American people are still alive.
Wait till Obama delivers nationalized healthcare. Many people will die waiting in line for surgical procedures and other vital care.

There are currently hundreds of thousands of unfilled positions in the medical fields (especially nursing). There are still quite a number of IT jobs in my neck of the woods.

We've been graduating a bunch of 18 year old dolts from our "educational" system for a long time now who don't want to work and don't want to achieve their potential. And all they can do it gripe because they don't have their dream job and dream car by the time their 20.

Those 700 people are applying for the janitor job because that is all they can do, at least until American Idol comes back auditioning in their town!
