  2. Looks like he was caught up in a sweep of other illegals, with whom he was knowingly associating, including his brother.

Sorry Jose, it's a risk and inconvenience you signed up for.

If ICE held him beyond the time that they needed to verify his id's, then he can have that as an issue. Otherwise he mixed himself in with a scenario where ICE had a reasonable basis for assuming that he could also be an illegal, subject to further confirmation.

It happens every day, in ever state. Some suspects are released after being arrested basis on further investigation. Nothing new under the sun about that. You would be getting rid of every police department in the country if totally eliminated that. There are 22 million illegals who need to be deported. No said it would be tidy.

Venegas said that when he returned to the construction site, ICE had already detained several workers, including his 34-year-old brother, who is reportedly in the country illegally.

So much for Real ID being the gold standard of identity confirmation.
With ICE in Alabama, I guess it's just not real enough. Maybe a tattoo of your state issued serial number or one of those RFID chips they slide under your skin like a dog. Freedom, baby

  4. Was he living with any illegals, such as his brother?

If so, he is harboring illegals. If, he is a citizen, that is still a crime.

He needs to be fully examined and, as discussed, if he is knowingly hanging around individuals who are at risk of being arrested then he has put himself in crosshairs and subject to scrutiny for all possible charges.

This is not the Biden administration. I know that for you that hurts.

So tell us -- Real ID is supposed to be the new gold standard of identity confirmation. Law enforcement and immigration are supposed to be able to spot-check on site anyone providing a Real ID and confirm that they are a U.S. citizen -- instead of being dragged off to jail. Why did these ICE clowns claim the Real ID was fake without checking it and locked up this U.S. citizens. They had no grounds or cause to do so despite your continuous speculations and straw-man nonsense (oh, what if he lived with illegals, etc.).

  6. Law enforcement is not prohibited from deciding that another level of verification is needed when an illegal is actively mingling with illegals. Especially since the mexican cartels are actively providing illegals with whatever documentation they need these days, including real ID. Contrary to your assertion that they are foolproof. In there are fake real id's out there and in Alabama.

Refer to AI for more on this:

Yes, fake REAL IDs, also known as STAR IDs in Alabama, do exist, and they can be difficult to detect. While the state has implemented security features to protect against fraud, fakes can still be created. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) has taken steps to enhance the security of its REAL ID compliant licenses (STAR IDs), but individuals should still be vigilant when verifying someone's ID.

In addition, the article says he was born in the U.S to "mexican parents" ie. illegals.

So, depending on the outcome of the Supreme Court ruling, he may still be an illegal even if someone issued him a real ID. As I said. this is not the Biden Administration. Whether or not a child born of illegals is a U.S. citizens is for the court to decide. In any case, ICE had a basis for detaining him to do a deeper dive on his status, which they did. If Jose there keeps hanging around with or even living with illegals (example his illegal brother there) then he should expect to go through this many more times.

This is not local law enforcement. It is ICE -- who are supposed to carry electronic verification machines for Real IDs on their raids. There was no reason to detain this U.S. citizen despite your twisting like a pretzel trying to create some reasoning.

It's just a matter of time before the Trump administration is putting out similar "bye-bye" videos for the U.S. citizens they sent to the government "re-education camps".

  10. Oh ICE has plenty of room and incentive to squeeze the alleged American even if he is a citizen. As I asked, the article said his brother is an illegal and there illegals at the worksite they raided. Is the American harboring or enabling the brothers present in the country. Did the American play any role in helping the illegals secure work at that worksite?

Yeh, can give Mr. Fake American plenty of reasons to not start getting too uppity about being detained. Go for it.

There are 22 million illegals left to be deported. Are you going to just cancel your life and follow each and every raid. Heh, of course you are. We have seen you dedicate your entire life to Matt Gatz for years at a time.
