    "They do not speak Danish." This assumes the fact that they never had the intent to speak the language of their host country IN THE FIRST PLACE.

    And the main Syrian woman being interviewed in this clip? She has been in the country for how long and speaks English but not Danish? Where did she learn English? Why does she not speak Danish? That pisses me off.

    You want to be a permanent resident of a country as a refugee? Then you learn the host country language. It is the LEAST you can do in fucking gratitude for them taking you in.

    Yup. Goverment would have a second look on those who are willing to change & adapt. But if a person lives there for 5 years, while working few months per year at random places, then what to expect.

    Unemployment benefit size in Denmark : ~$2000
    Min salary in Syria : ~$130

    Why to work, if you can do nothing and send back half or third of that.
    Felt for woman tho, sounded like shes willing to change, but yh, 7 yrs no language as of yet.
