And yet they LOST net Senate seats to the Republicans. That wasn’t part of the blue wave narrative at all prior to the election.

The map favored republicans. The percentage of races won is similar to republicans in 2010 and the popular vote winning margin is larger.

  6. Gerrymandering needs to be a focus now.

Campaign finance reform requires a shot as there is little point in continuing if the new blood (either party) just turns to shit under the pressure to beg for money like has happened.

The problem the US has is there just are more Lib/Dem-leaning people. That is a fact of biology present across the globe. The only way the cons get a grip on power for a long time is through their remarkably obviously man-made authoritarian religions.

The Buddhists do ok but Judeo-Christian-Islam is seriously retarded by comparison.

The two party system meets a political market that is now too efficient and the Cons have to cheat. Something has to change.

Not by these historical standards. Especially since over 40 republicans retired.

I don't know but bookmark this post: last night's results greatly increased Trump's chances of winning in 2020 for more reasons that I have time to list right now.

These left wingers don't understand how our elections work. They are whining about the popular vote from last night. These left wingers are still whining about the popular vote in 2016. It is their passive-aggressive way of not accepting election results.
