This would be a mistake. Democrats should let Mueller do his thing and work with Trump where they can and stop him when needed.

    Deal with Trump in 2020.

This country has been completely off kilter for too long. The house has been returned to the people and the Republic should be set to right after 2020.

The senate is the proper place for republicans, really conservatives, to hold power.

The popular vote is important because it shows democrats are coming out to vote. The Dems popular vote margin last night was bigger than Obamas in 2008,Obamas in 2012,Hillarys in 2016,and Dems taking The House in 2006.

I think that Pelosi will be an important check on Dem impeachment ambitions. She knows how much long term damage the Republican House did to itself over the Clinton impeachment debacle.

    Adam Schiff is quite capable.

Waters and Cummings I find to be hysterically incompetent.

Don’t forget this was a midterm year, where democrats typically don’t turn out. The inroads dems made in the suburbs is going to be long lasting. There is a lot of new blood coming in with more modern views on issues. And lots and lots of women congressmen.

2020 should be a very good year for democrats.

That would be really important if there were no twelve amendment to the constitution. If every person in every blue congressional district voted Dem it wouldn’t have changed the results for the general election for President.

You said"I don’t think that either party has “the will of the people”.

People and the electoral college are 2 different things.Dems have the will of the people.Republicans have the electoral college and gerrymandering.

If the Dems truly had “the will of the people” - there would have been a legitimate historical blue wave and they would have taken the Senate. The Dems have the will of urban people and certain but not all suburban people.
