I only mention a few very specific policies I disagree with that are policies of the Biden Administration. Joe Biden Happens to be a Democrat. If the Republicans were to run that Gangster Trump again, or any of the gutless Politicians that have demonstrated a complete lack of integrity, you can rest assured I'll be fervently in favor of the Democrat candidate, whomever that turns out to be. Now if someone like Romney, or Cheney, were to run unopposed by other Republicans, I would have to give their candidacy consideration. You may want to read again my piece on the "Genesis of Inflation" and subsequent related posts. My posts in that thread contain information that is not widely appreciated or understood among ET participants. These posts contain quite detailed information about the roles Treasuries play in controlling bank reserves and as a monetary policy tool. The posts indirectly explain why a model that draws a distinction between outside and inside money must be used if one wants to correctly understand the so-called "money supply", the role of government deficits, the mechanisms for creating outside and inside money, and why government deficits do not necessarily lead directly to inflation, as many incorrectly assume. Most people completely misunderstand the mechanism for determining the amount of net new outside money that gets "printed". Most think the Central Bank has something to do with this. They don't. They are only the facilitator; yet they have no control over the amount. The Central Bank, however, heavily influences the amount of inside money, which is temporary money. The Williams paper that I give a link to also makes excellent reading along these same lines. The Williams paper and my posts will have to be carefully read and studied if you want to get the most out of them. There is an awful lot of good information crammed into a few posts in that thread.
Piezoe, this is a simple question and I have no idea why you can't just answer it. What policies or parts of the Democratic platform do you oppose? OR, if easier to answer, what parts of the standard GOP platform to you support? Don't dissemble, don't obfuscate, just answer the question if you can. If you don't oppose anything in the Democratic platform, proudly say so. Don't get hung up on Biden and try - for just one post - to hold your TDS in check. I'm not talking about individual men here, and how well you like them. Don't try to dodge and bring up the Fed, or monetary policy and launch into financial discussions. Just. Answer.
That's kinda what I figured you'd say. The truth is, you don't go against anything the Democrats have in their platform, which makes you 100% partisan. Unless, you can speak to something and prove otherwise. And if you're 100% partisan, then you have no real credibility when criticizing the other party, because you're naturally opposed to anything they are about, and it is your narrative that is interested in suppressing anything they are for. People who focus on issues and not parties (or specific people) are the only ones that are qualified to actually challenge political parties for thoughts and ideas. They focus on ideas being "good" or "bad" and don't obsess over people (like you always do with Trump). You're an academic. I've pointed this out many times to you, sometimes snarkily (and honestly I probably shouldn't have, so I'm sorry for that) and sometimes plainly. As an academic, you should appreciate an argument on logic. But again, you're not inclined to, because you don't want to. Narrative. Instead, be open to discussion and the fact that you might be biased. Admit the bias. Engage in honest discussion. You're one of the most civil people on this forum - that's a huge plus. But you're far from the most honest, which isn't a positive.
Call me as expecting to see mostly redacted black pieces of paper but enough for him to say it was released.
Ohh it could go a lot of ways. All blacked out or not. I think this judge wants the public to see what’s in it though. There really is no reason to release it otherwise.
OMG the comments " someone is pressuring the judge...he's a Trumper" Some people are just outright stoopid
