Democrats starting to Force their Flu/Virus/Covid-19 Mandates starting with Innocent Children

  1. Flu virus vaccinations? Really? I've never seen it before.

And why not in the Political section? I'm sure this is being forced on people by the Democratic Party. IF you have evidence that it is not, let us all know.

  2. So you would have your 4 year old vaccinated then since you didn't answer that question.

"While most people will recover from the flu within several days to two weeks, some people can develop complications from the virus, which can include sinus and ear infections, pneumonia, and inflammation of the heart (myocarditis), brain (encephalitis), or muscle (myositis, rhabdomyolysis). IT CAN EVEN BE DEADLY."

Flu is different than other mandatory vaccination in regards to K-12 public school. My understanding is that some states require flu vaccines each year and others do not. As a note, North Carolina does not require mandatory flu vaccines every year for K-12 students - -however parents are strongly urged by their school systems to have their children get this vaccine with notes/emails at the beginning of each school year.

Congress had a panel discussing mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations - starting with the military. There were some posts on this way back a few months ago. Don't know where it stands.

I know I'm not imagining this but when I was in grade school in the state of Illinois after being in France for two years...

Republican president Gerald Ford made a big stink about vaccination...year 1976.

That summer, all the parents / kids had to either bring a vaccination card for enrollment in the school or get the Flu shot at the school.

It was very hot that day...long line and the damn thing look like a gun they shot into my arm. My arm (shoulder) swelled up like a balloon later that night and it freaked out my mother especially when I ran a high fever.

I didn't sleep all night and the fever broke the next morning...arm swelling had gone down.

Neigbours mom said "no way in hell am I putting my kids through that" after hearing about what happened to me. I never had an problems with the Flu shot again and it was a mandatory vaccination to enter the military...that I do remember going into OCS.

Another kid down the street from me had that mandatory Flu vaccine in 1976 and she broke out into some gross looking rash all over her body. I remember that very well because my little brother said his very first "profanity words" in English after seeing what happened to her after she got the Flu vaccine...

    Fuck That.

Never had to be concerned with that... the HPV vaccine only came out in 2006 when my kids were teens.

At what age does vaccine schedule suggest the HPV vaccine should be applied?

As far as I know children are much older before they are allowed to get the HPV vaccine
    https://www.cdc.gov/hpv/parents/vaccine.html

Two doses of the HPV vaccine are recommended for all boys and girls at ages 11–12
; the vaccine can be given as early as age 9. If you wait until they’re older, they may need three doses instead of two.

Children who start the vaccine series on or after their 15th birthday need three shots given over 6 months.

  7. I do not remember ever getting a mandatory flu shot or ever having my kids forced into one. Of course I do remember all the other vaccinations, just not a flu shot. I remember those being a choice.

Which state did you grow up in --- flu shots varied/vary by state.

I grew up in New York which did not require a mandatory flu shot.

That's true but I think the number of people is so low that they would develop complications...

They deemed it "safe" for the overall population although I've forgotten what that safety threshold percentage represents.

Looking back, I myself only had complications once when I was a kid and I've had the flu shot maybe 6 times since. Last time was last year...no complications...no fever...no soreness in the arm...nothing.

In contrast, my Mom had the Flu vaccine two years ago and she had to be taken to the hospital the next day. Released two days later after a bunch of tests on her heart.
