Interesting to see how people from Europe are rooting wholeheartedly for Biden apparently out of concern for American people and their suffering under profit oriented ruthless capitalism b/c they instinctively know that with him it won't be a sovereign country and a world leader called USA any more.
The world leadership is already over for the US. But you only don't realize it. Asia will be the new leader in this decade. They are catching up fast. And Presidents with the "qualifications" of Trump will only speed up that process. How can you be a worldleader if you cancel all agreements on trade, WHO, etc... Trump is isolating the US, which means losing leadership outside the US. As you live in the US you have no clue what EU thinks. But it is clear that outside the US the whole world, so not only EU, thinks the same about Trump. You don't even realize that (more than) half of the US does not like Trump. Tells a lot about your objectivity.
Your question was:"sovereign country and a world leader called USA" Don't change the subject because you realize you were wrong in your statement.
I guess no answer to my question. Some unnamed European country (or a bunch of European bureaucrats) is a leader of the free world now and US must toe the line. Bringing more socialism is a step in the right direction to forego the country's sovereignty and its unique identity. Compliant Biden is their choice and Europeans are championing for him in full force.
Want to know why People do what they do follow the money trail. Of course they want Biden and crew. Nevertheless, they best make haste and break out their hankies for those crocodile tears as Mr T is gonna win by a landslide. Bye bye Biden from the political world as the voters will likely BID you bye bye tomorrow at the voting stations.
I am not so sure. So many people are deceived and bamboozled by the biased subjective MSM and college professors.
It is simple: perennial short-termers' fight. Long term is not even on a horizon. As always, useful idiots are afraid to lose a lot in near term, while being blind to the fact that they lose everything in the long term... So, we have the 1930s replay: international vs national Socialism ============================ One must look behind the curtain to understand what is really motivating The Economist, or at least its editor, Zanny Minton Beddoes. She is an elite liberal globalist with degrees from Oxford and Harvard. She worked for the International Monetary Fund and with Jeffrey Sachs. She proudly recounts how The Economist was founded in 1843 to "fight" for "free trade." She has been a champion of the euro and opposed Brexit. What really drives her hatred of President Trump is his "trade war" with China. She acknowledges that Chinese president Xi Jinping has made China even more authoritarian than before. She admits that the hope that integrating China into the world economy would lead to democracy and cooperation has not come to pass (though she still hopes it might). Yet these facts do not matter to her. Just as her magazine endorsed appeasement in the 1930s, thinking it was possible to do business with Hitler despite the nature of Nazism, she thinks it is impossible not to do business with Xi despite the nature of his regime. As she told fellow globalist Ian Bremmer in an interview just two months ago, "We will lose a huge amount if we undo the trade links and efficiency that has come from an integrated world economy." She argues that the supply chains created with China cannot be decoupled, as President Trump wants, without damage to the transnational corporations who are her real concern. She still wants "the world's two largest economies to work hand-in-glove" and to calm negative feelings about China she even downplays Beijing's guilt in spawning the COVID-19 pandemic. She knows that Biden is an appeaser who has already promised to remove the tariffs President Trump levied on Chinese goods. https://www.americanthinker.com/art...e_magazine_the_economist_veers_hard_left.html
This is an incredibly naive and misplaced POV. https://foreignpolicy.com/2020/10/02/biden-trump-trade-wars-election-2020/ https://www.reuters.com/article/usa-election-biden-china-idUSKBN27E2BI For the sake of argument, even if Biden were to lift the tariffs, he would replace them with human rights sanctions. If Biden wants to give China a free pass on access to the US economy and he allows China unfettered bullying in the Indo-Pacific Region, he'll lose both houses in 2022.
