Thank you. And, thank you for standing up when you mention that name. But, where oh where are we going to find one in the current bag of shit some call the Republican Party?

He sounded very optimistic when he was stumping for votes but once elected he turned pessimistic realist overnight.

  3. Obama still thinks he is on the campaign trail. That time has past. His actions, poorly worded speeches, his lame financial advisors are quickly discrediting his administration. Look at how the markets are voting its plain to see.
This speech below is the one the voters are responding to not the socialistic ObamaNation speeches!
SANTELLI: No they’re not, Joe. They’re not like putty in our hands. This is America! How many of you people want to pay for your neighbor’s mortgage that has an extra bathroom and can’t pay their bills? Raise their hand.
    (Booing)
    President Obama, are you listening?
TRADER: How ’bout we all stop paying our mortgage? It’s a moral hazard.
KERNEN: It’s like mob rule here. I’m getting scared. I’m glad I’m…
CARL QUINTANILLA: Get some bricks and bats…

Maybe that's what the messiah meant by the "change" he chanted non stop during his career long campaign.

  5. I never said I liked Obama. I said he talks better. He inspires people. Can you say the same about Bush? I didn’t vote for him and I voted for Bush in 2004. He’s being realistic now. Great speeched are nice, but we need to get down to business and fix this now. That’s what he’s trying to convey now.

But seriously how can you throw up all those quotes the Dems have said without pointing out all the stupid things the Republicans have said. Here I’ll get you started with an easy one.

    McCain (90% of Bush)

“The fundamentals of our economy are strong.”

  7. Without a link referencing each statement, I can only assume you pulled them out of your ass or off the internet rumor mill. And so, I read none.

  8. Gnome, what is the matter with you? The economy is fairly imploding. Do you want a president who lies to you, or one who lays it out and then tries to make the best of it with the advice of some of the smartest minds in the country? What the hell is it with otherwise thinking people? Gnome, have you not noticed the caliber of people with whom you are aligning yourself even only here at ET? Read their posts. Does that alone not scare you?
