  3. Makes you wonder what LA's earthquake disaster planning looks like.

Not really. No need to wonder. We know that there are some freaks in charge of it - making big bucks for being woke. However, when the quake hits it will be a Lord of the Flies scenario. But it will be equitable. Just like LA's fire disaster planning. This fire is providing an equal/equitable opportunity for even more diverse populations to become homeless, so how can that be a bad thing?

If you are living in Pacific Palisades and you are wondering who put those clowns in office, look in the mirror. You wanted a society that could not wipe its on arse when the going got tough as long as you were being vulnerable in a woke kind of way. You got it.

And in regard to disaster relief for LA, sorry but that is regressive as hell. That money should continue to go to illegals arriving daily. What the hell are you thinking? LA Council should be holding an emergency meeting to find housing for more illegals right now. Maybe seize the lots from homeowners there who can no longer pay their taxes, then auction them off to raise funds for housing for illegal immigrants. Whoa, and you need more sites for homeless camps in LA. No prob!!! Your LA leaders just created large swathes of vacant land.

Trump needs to place all funding going to California under review and eliminate anything that does not improve the safety and security of Californians. The Pacific Palisades types should be left alone duke it out with their woke buddies that they elected. Trump's focus should be on normal, working class people. And he should go to California- as he did in the campaign- to let the people know that the country and the republican party will not abandon normal people living in CA who are trapped in democratic districts. And most districts are dem but the balance of power in the house is tight and CA continues to be a good source for picking up some stray republican seats even if the state is overwhelming dem. Just as has proven to be the case in NY.

Not to worry. They can just let the homeless live on the land.

Newsom is directly on point. All we are seeing are politicians slinging mud to score political points; none of this is helpful in the fire-fighting and recovery effort.

In a proper world, the focus would be on addressing the emergency as the top consideration and then holding a factual "post-mortem" after the fact to correct the root causes that allowed the large scale fire to devastate the city.

But, of course, this will never happen. The politicians rather sling mud.

  8. Heh, The words "Newsom" and "This is not about politics" all in the same sentence. That's a non-starter right theya.

Meanwhile, he is out there worrying - not about the people- but about what this will do for his 2028 campaign. I sure hope he is careful to not get too close to open flames there with that hair gel.

  9. I hope that starting next week, LA residents will start circulating recall petitions for Karen Bass.

I am thinking those signatures should fall into place fairly fast.

More time for her to be visiting Ghana.
