Fire management is not only an issue with California. Failed forest management is also an issue in many red states. Many of these red states spend zero dollars on forest fire prevention. The primary difference is that 10 of the top 15 metro areas for fire risk are located in California - these areas encompass a good amount of suburban area in the state. This is why California needs to be very proactive in addressing fire risk -- otherwise they will regularly land up in the news with the disaster coverage we are seeing today. Funny thing is when extreme weather hits Florida or New Orleans you don't see the dumb asses like OP saying much about it. Florida is needing disaster relief almost nonstop it seems. And you rarely see someone on hear talking about the huge strength of the economy in heavily Democratic states like California and New York. This is a trading site that's a better topic why do so many ultra-Republican states still have really shitty economies ?
