That's the thing i'm finding that the tea party has alot of appeal to many left wingers as well as per the libertarian elements within it. Left wingers favor the socially liberal positions favored by the tea party such as drug decriminalization and the position on the "war on drugs" in general, the enthusiasm for non interventionist foreign policy, the anti patriot act, anti excessive law enforcement, and anti prison industry elements. There are many "audit the fed", anti war, and anti lobbying types as well. They mostly all favor broad protection from search and seizure etc. All of which appeal to most liberals. After all the tea party movement and the greater libertarian movement are really just advocates for liberalism. Real liberalism though, classic liberalism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_liberalism Not this 21st centruy "social liberalism", which is really just marxism-lite, or socialism repackaged. The people you call "liberals" today are not liberals. They simply hijacked the term.
People on the left are consistently vicious, especially in their power grabbing... they are cheapskates in their personal lives too... the Bible says that anybody that encourages homos has no place in the Kingdom to come... so look around you and see all the people that God is talking about, they are a pathetic mess...
The libtards are scared sh!tless when they think about the Tea Party. Guess there's more the movement than the media is telling us. Gee, what a surprise.
Hillary Clinton texts a $10 donation to Pakistan flood relief By Christina Wilkie - 08/04/10 06:15 PM ET Talk about putting your money where your mouth is. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton texted a $10 donation to flood relief efforts in Pakistan on Wednesday, saying she is leading by example and pressing Americans to donate money. http://thehill.com/capital-living/i...-texts-a-10-donation-to-pakistan-flood-relief
Gimme time, I'm PRODUCING real goods for SALE in the marketplace. While not as nasty, "ruthless" (lol) as the Watergate break-in, this is of course still completely pathetic. As for "scared shitless", not quite so melodramatic as that. Disappointed. Disappointed that justifiable anger from the apparently unemployed working class of the country is once again misdirected.
LOL!!! The smear campaign in all the left leaning media and the hysteria amongst all the left pundits certainly suggests it's a bit more than "disappointed", because they sure as shit aren't acting in any way which even remotely coveys "disappointed". "Intimidated", "threatened" , and "fearful" all seem more plausible given their reactions. The fact that it's spreading like crazy, and that over 1/3 of the USA are supporters probably doesn't help their concern at all either. But WAIT!! I thought that dems WERE the middle class Ricter, what gives?
