Democrat Plans for Voter Intimidation on Tuesday, November 3, 2020?

Discussion in 'Politics' started by BeautifulStranger, Jul 25, 2020.

How likely will there be a coordinated attempt to deny people from voting?

  1. It is inevitable, and it wouldn’t be the first time.

    3 vote(s)
    75.0%
  2. One or both sides feel justified in doing almost anything to prevail in this c ritical election.

    1 vote(s)
    25.0%
  3. There will be the usual efforts by fervent party disciples in some precincts.

    0 vote(s)
    0.0%
  4. There may be isolated cases, but in most cases they will not make a difference in the outcome.

    0 vote(s)
    0.0%

  2. Deep down inside you know what I’m doing. I’m doing the “Broken wing ploy”. There is no actual broken wing, however. Of course, there is no balance. I’ll fill in the details after I deliver this load and return in about 9 hours.

The bottom line is that we probably share the same ideals, but see different ways of them being achieved.

By the way, if you have thoughts of playing intimidation games or leveraging the fact that I respect and like you against me, don’t.

OK, make it shorter than normal though :)

Now now, I said something that is a statement of fact, my generation was conditioned to regard fascism as an absolute evil. This is just how it is, we were deluged in war films where all they did was kill Nazis.

Gaussian takes this as a soy beta tough guy thing because he identifies with fascists as being a bad guy makes him feel tough and edgy. All I did was suggest he sees this beta male for himself.

  4. Make it short, eh? I feel pretty good in spite of being of the road for the last 12 hours or so.

Do I feel like re-entering the black hole of political hypocracy right now? Nah. Think I’ll focus on trading this week instead. Been doing well. Some continuity as far as time available for trading will be a nice change. Need to turn off the phone so I don’t get swayed by agents giving me a hardship story, though.

Maybe a post on Covid if something interesting comes along.

I recently watched the new Spencer for Hire movie. Very good. I used to love the series as a kid, Black Betty was brilliant.

Today was a hard day, the missus has been making me watch Anne with an E but there are no Es in it and right now telling me all about a book she just got on gardening by her favourite Korean philosopher who lives in Germany.

Fuck off Anne with no Es and Byung-Chul Han and all.
