Now, what government do you have when one wolf, and 49 black sheep and 50 white sheep arguing ceaselessly over which color sheep is the better sheep, vote on what's for lunch?

Not sure what you call it, but you'll have one wolf and 98 sheep afterwards!

ah yes, both sides want women to give birth to unwanted children, and no voter rights have ever been stripped in any state ever, and due process is peachy in every state.

  3. That is not the same thing as claiming we are facists and there is no democracy. We have due process in every state so not sure what that refers to. Any issues are due to fucktards who administer it not with the system.

Voting rights can be stripped from people, like felons for example. Are we worried about rapists being able to participate in our democracy?

Are you saying the onerous bail system for petty accusations in some states does not hamper those citizens' right to a speedy trial? Are voter rolls not purged over change of address or lack of address? Are voting locations, times, etc.. not demographically targeted?

America is not fascist, the GOP has no problem w/adopting fascism though.

  5. Are you saying those things mean we are not a democracy and are a facist state? Because claiming Democracy has no future is naive. One of hte biggest imediments to a speedy trial is a court system backed up for months and months with cases moving at a snails pace. If the court is backed up for 4 months, then why hasnt someone in all these years won a SC case claiming violation of speedy trial rights?

It's not "either/or". I like to think we're still mainly a democracy with a small but growing authoritarian element.

Is being antidemocratic and having unequal or selective prosecution not fascistic? I'm not claiming democracy has no future, that's OP.

Advocating for would be felons is not a popular position. Unpopular does not mean is wrong or out of line w/democracy.

I've said it before, if we're going to object to expanding our courts, and we have "precedent" on how the death of a few (in mass shootings) is the consequences of 2A freedoms, then people accused of certain crimes awaiting their trial date at home (and resulting crimes of such measure) should be the consequences of a right to a speedy trial. Not waste away in prison because they're poor.

North Sea, two under sea cables that connect to the UK are damaged.
World war three should move the market a little bit.
