I think demo is just demo. Fund a small account and test drive it. Feel the real thing and all the emotional fights you have yo take when youbsee your account go to hell. Try different strategies then when you ready and have backtested results then go all in knowing the truth.
Its like from the frying pan to fire. Why waste alot of time demo trading and the first thing you do after depositing live funds you loose all. I actually started with live funds that i was ready to loose. I did loose it but it gave me a sense of being careful not to mess around with the markets having hope that's unfounded. Demo results are nearly perfect giving you false hope in the end the market humbles you. Better start small and go small till you can handle a lot more.
Demo is really important when you are practicing or trying out different strategies. I think that can help you without losing the actual money.
I agree on that. The best way to test your trading strategies without the fear of losing funds; demo trading it is. Everyone should use a demo account before going in for live trading.
i am very new in this Forum community , hope all senior traders and adviser will support me to learn advanced level of trading . in this lock down i continuing only demo. thanks everyone.
I support this idea that the demo account should not differ from the real account, because then it is difficult to switch.
honestly speaking , i trade most of the time in demo , but the knowledge i have gained i fail to use that when trade in a real account.
Thats because demo trading does not involve funds and if trading does not involve funds it does not involve emotions and if no emotions trading is good. However since demo is without funds and real account with funds, there is a lot of difference between demo and live account trading.
