I also think you can 1) ask for an extension; 2) open an account and not fund it, which lets you keep using the paper trading.
Yikes, that's come down a bit. You can always extend perpetually by dropping an e-mail. Also: www.interactivebrokers.com have paper trading accounts and a generalized demo account mainly to showcase their software. www.optionsxpress.com also have a "Virtual Trading" account.
