That is totally how it should be, only thing to look at though is the demo account should offer similar trading conditions as live. Spreads shouldn't be fictitiously low and executions got to be more real like. What I mean is that the few seconds of gap between order placement and order execution in real trading should also be reflected in the demo account.

If you practice with higher spreads you will face no issues in live trading. It's a good thing that you are not getting unreally low spreads in demo. Because in live trading you won't get low spreads all the time.
