Hilarious. Mahoney lucked out when as a 20-1 underdog the Foley scandal broke. His district isn't even close to being a "safe" Dem district so this will very possibly sink him. What are the odds of 2 Congressmen from the same district losing their seat from the effects of sexual impropriety in consecutive campaigns? BTW: The rumor is Mahoney's mistress was pissed when he started having an affair with yet another woman. Not to drag poor Mrs. Mahoney into this but both her and Ms. Allen are two of the ugliest looking women in Palm Beach County.
If this guy was a republican, the dems would be out with attack ads making him the poster boy for the republicans in congress, like they did with foley. Republicans know the media will eviscerate them for "negative" campaigning so they shy away from anything tough. Republicans should be running ads nonstop attacking Barney Frank, chris Dodd, that William Jefferson guy who they have on video taking bribes and now this guy. Instead, nothing. Plus, McCain seems to feel obligated to go around to rallies and tell people that Obama is a fine man. He doesn't know that. He probably knows as little about Obama as anyone else, which is to say not much. He should be saying Obama is a radical who cannot be trusted as president. That he represents the values of Rev. Wright, Bill ayers and a coorupt chicago democrat machine.
