Nine morons was acting liked I praised the US response vs Canada or its performance.... I never did... I think the response sucked.
You have repeatedly denied that covid exploded in Canada..yet it has far surpassed the pre shutdown levels. You are obviously the one suffering delusions.
It may have "exploded" in Canada but the U.S. is reporting a >400% higher infection rate per capita than Canada.* Maybe it is because Canadians didn't treat wearing masks as a political statement. _____________________ *This may relate to unreliable test data in the U.S. We still haven't figured out testing and follow-up.. Under the Trump administration there was no national coordination of anything, including reporting which varied by State.. There was constant political interference with the agencies that normally would have been in charge during a pandemic. The Trump administration eliminated the Office that was created under the Obama Administration to deal especially with heading off pandemic threats. Inaccurate, but cheap and fast antibody tests were mingled with reliable and accurate, but too sensitive PCR tests. There was practically no follow-up. Clearly, U.S. covid data is the least reliable among all the industrialized nations we regularly compare ourselves to. Although things will be managed far better under Biden, it will probably prove impossible to sort out and correct the mishmash of Covid data created under the Trump administration. As far as political interference with science goes, under Trump the U.S. became Romania.
Imagine the level of delusion you have to operate on that your main takes on Covid are still : 1. Covid is "exploding" in Canada. 2. Sweden is the best model for how to deal with Covid on the planet. 3. Herd immunity without vaccines is a workable strategy in the US. 4. You can isolate the "high risk" and let the "low risk" carry on like there is no pandemic. 5. Wearing Masks don't help much. Almost every medical expert on the planet strongly disagrees with #3-#5. Sweden currently has far higher infection rates then "exploding" Canada. Toronto where I live has no more of a Covid issue in the second wave then San Diego where he lives. In fact, our schools are still open ( with limited exceptions ), and apparently this is not the case in many areas of the US. I've yet to see any Jem posts on "exploding" Covid in the US or Sweden. Funny how that works. Just like early in the summer he kept asking for data, so I presented the Canada vs US data and asked for the reasons why the large discrepancy existed ( I knew the reasons ). Of course he ignored that data. Bottom line is Jem is a political animal with an arts education. He's not going to understand any of this but he'll come with the bluster and the bs and think he's said something.
Maybe its because we have not closed the border... and we are not asking the high risk to stay isolated. To me its absolutely fucking off the rails crazy... that we are letting Covid come over the border. And I see high risk people walking around thinking their masks are protecting them and their family members... e ven though the studies show they do not. Yet when I look at the stats here... over 90 percent of the deaths are to the high risk group. What the hell? Fauci should be telling the high risk to protect themselves... and the borders should be closed.. Look at all the Covid cases near the border.... And we wear masks all the time in San Diego. https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/tracking-coronavirus-cases-san-diego-county Just look at what you can learn on that page... Old people are dying. People with medical conditions are dying. Most of the Covid is at the border... We wear masks... So why are the high risk dying. Because they think their family and they are protected. When we actually focus on protecting the high risk... then you can start blaming people who don't wear masks. Til then ... I see it as sophistry because I see the data.
1. True... all you have to do is look at the graph and the stats. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/canada 2. Not the best model... I would close the borders and isolate the high risk... while letting the low risk out as long as we have hospital capacity... plus I would test and trace for clusters and super spreaders. I have said that at least 50 times to you and gwBE-lying. 3. Herd immunity with vaccine and without it til we get it... in that we isolate the high risk. why do you all keep lying about what I say. 4. You fucking cheap shot lying asshole... that is not what I say. 5. The study in Denmark and the Paper from the DNC shows that masks did not protect vs those who did not wear them.
We've got one of the worst responses in the world. Letting foreigners in would improve the numbers at this point.
High risk group should be taking steps to protect themselves. That is a no brainer. Too many waiting for nanny government to take care of them like they were little babies? Grow up little children. Lots of practical things to do to protect yourself like wear a mask, wash your hands and face with soap and water when you get back home from errands, take a hot bath to kill any germs and viruses you got outside the house, take Vitamin C, Zinc Gluconate, Vitamin D, buy a pulse oximeter to check your oxygen levels (95-99 is normal). President Donald Trump had a reading of 93 when he was flown to Walter Reed Medical Center. Get some exercise too while, we are at it and try to eat a more balanced diet. Open your windows at your home and let fresh air in to dissipate any virus and germs that are trapped inside your home.
