DELL 30" Ultra Sharp

I dont know the size offhand but they can be purchased at any automotive store

 

I bought a set of Torx's at Lowe's to remove some screws on one of my monitors...I have no idea if there's a standard size.

 

I want to get two Dell 30" LCD's

So with what video card can I run two monitors at 2560x1600, just for charting

I read the geforce 8800 GT could handle this?

Haven't heard of anybody running 2 of those.... might need 4 video cards and a mobo with 4x PCIEx16 slots. Available, but not common. If you have the space, you could probably run 4, 24", 1920x1200 monitors for a lot less $$$.

 

a 8600GT is fine, your not using it for gaming. 8600GT has 2 dual-link dvi ports.

 

I have 4 HP 24" that rotates this is the best thing I did, get a video card that will flip the screen you can open up your chats and get a bettet picture of what is happining in the markets

 

So, you use both DVI ports to run one 30"er?

6 months ago I got an Acer 22" at Best Buy for like...$200, and a nice DVI card.
On the way home, I found a 15"Samsung on the side of the road for free.
Got home, hooked both up, put the DOM and Trading platform on the Samsung, Charts on the Acer.
Perfect!
