  2. UPDATE: 24" DELL LCD just arrived and is hooked up. First impressions: clear picture and plenty of room with 1900x1200. I like it so far. Much better picture and clarity than the 18" LCD i was using. As of now, i would recommend this LCD panel for all that have the desire to own one. Otherwise, graph paper and a no.2 pencil will still do for those that do not have the inclination to purchase such a product. The stand leaves a bit to be desired and is bulky otherwise i can see nothing wrong with it yet.

  3. The second 24" Monitor I ordered arrived today as well. I agree with Cluseau. These things do look great side by side.

  5. i almsot bought the 24 inch but for 800 i can buy 2 of the ultrasharp 1905's when they're on sale. so the resolution on the 24 inch goes to 1920? that means you can fit much more than the 19 inchers? to be honest i made 5 times more with my old 19 inch crt's than all the new monitors and computers i've bought

  6. Maybe you got side-tracked with all the new gleaming gear... Forgot that some still trade the market with graph paper and a No.2 pencil.

The 24" LCD resolution is 1900x1200. My older 18" LCD was capable of resolution of 1024x768. The 24" LCD has almost double the resolution of my 18" LCD. And yes, the space and clarity is spectacular. Three 24" LCD panels can replace roughly 5-6 19" LCD panels.

Looking for 2048x1536 in a flat panel. That way I can go quad 1024x768. It seems they only want widescreen or faster gaming.
