I've been living in different countries since I was born...military family...born in France.

Yet, the U.S. was the country I lived in the most because I myself served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
    • Therefore, you're mistaken...I didn't leave the U.S.
Instead, I'm raising my family in another country while still owning a house / property in the U.S., still pay state taxes, still vote (absentee) for the party I think is best for the country / no political ties to any specific party, still live in the U.S. a few months per year...

Simply, no breakup via your immature girlfriend analogy.

The left right wing political spectrum originated in France during the French Revolution and is misused in the United States. In fact, in the U.S...left and right political terms are typically used in conversations as a disparaging remark.

In fact, the closes there ever has been a left wing party in the U.S. was in the 1820s - 1830s via the Working Men's Party.

Although left-wing politics came to the United States in the 19th century, there are no major left-wing political parties in the United States. It's just an ideology.

Also, I've voted more Republican in my life since eligible to vote. Yet, never consider myself a Republican nor Democrat (the few times I did vote Democrat).

Simply, I vote via what I think is best for the country and when I was indecisive...I did not vote.
