Once again a vatnik offering up the contents of Russian telegram channels as "evidence". The reality is that these posts are the latest in Russian propaganda as the Kremlin tries to wave attention away from their efforts to forcefully conscript over 500,000 more men in Russia to be used as cannon fodder.

The only conscription being done in Ukraine right now is being done by the Russian military and authorities in the occupied territories -- where they are forcing civilians to fight against their own country.

Ukraine stop conscription last year. Ukraine has enough volunteers for their military during Russia's invasion. Unlike Russia, they don't need to use conscription.

Ukraine scraps conscription for compulsory military service in wartime

Maybe you should stay on topic on this thread -- which is about the dissolution of Russia as all the various factions openly revolt. But staying on topic is too much to expect from a vatnik.

  4. If you Russo-phobes want to know why some of us support Russia and the Ukrainian people against the Nazi Ukrainian government, here is a 2-min video history of US military action for the last 50+ years. If you have the stomach.

US is the real pusher of this war through NATO.

Medvedev is opening his big mouth again and he surprisingly gets something right in all of his nonsense. Russian troops will be kicked out of Ukraine and when this happens the Russian Federation will fall apart as all the remote regions revolt.

Former Russian president says ‘country will fall apart’ if troops withdraw from Ukraine
    https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/worl...t-if-troops-withdraw-from-ukraine/ar-AA17Qr7u

Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev has said that Russia’s loss in its continuing war with Ukraine will lead the country to be “torn to pieces”.

“If Russia stops the special military operation without achieving victory, Russia will disappear, it will be torn to pieces,”
the deputy chair of the security council of the Russian federation said in a Telegram post on Wednesday.

“If the US stops supplying weapons to the Kyiv regime, the war will end,” the predecessor to Russian president Vladimir Putin said.

Mr Medvedev also called the Russian president’s state of the nation address “an overdue and inevitable decision”, referring to the announcement of temporary suspension from its participation in the new START nuclear arms reduction treaty.

“This is a decision that will have a huge resonance in the world in general and in the United States in particular,” Mr Medvedev said.

“After all, it is obvious to all reasonable forces that if the United States wants Russian defeat, then we are on the verge of a world conflict,” he said, and added that “if the United States wants to defeat Russia, then we have the right to defend ourselves with any weapon, including nuclear.”

The former Russian president also took a swipe at Joe Biden’s speech in Poland where the US president said that if Russia stopped invading Ukraine, it would end the year-long war but if Ukraine stopped defending itself against Russia’s invasion, it would be the end of Ukraine as a nation.

Calling the remarks a “refined lie”, Mr Medvedev said: “Why does he appeal to the people of another country at a time when he is full of domestic problems? With what fright should we listen to a politician from a hostile state that exudes hatred for our Motherland?”

“Why should the citizens of Russia believe the leader of the United States, who unleashed the most wars in the 20th and 21st centuries, but reproach us for aggressiveness?” he said.

The war in Ukraine – the biggest land war in Europe since the second World War – clocks its first year mark on Friday with a grisly battle for capturing Ukrainian territory underway in the besieged country’s eastern sector. After a slow winter stalemate, the last weeks have seen Russia mount infantry assaults across frozen ground in battles described by both sides as the bloodiest of the war.

  8. I read that earlier. Looked to me like what Cabin Boy was doing there is beginning to switch from a "this is why we attacked Ukraine" justification to Russians over to a "Even if you oppose the war, you need to support it because Russia will collapse if you lose" argument. Subtle but a big difference.

The other thing is that if they lose and the Americans/Nato agree not to enter/attack Russia, the Putin and Cabin Boy can argue that they extracted that agreement from the West.
Pretty ridiculous because the west would agree to that tomorrow, but whatever.

Also Fairy Boy Medvedev hypes up the "Russia will be torn to pieces" if it loses scam, but conveniently does not mention that it is and will be the internal forces within Russia that will tear it to pieces- all the oligarchs, warlords, disgruntled hardliners, etc. It is not as though American and Ukrainian tanks will be rolling into Red Square.

Revolution drawing closer. I'm hoping it will also sweep Iran and Belarus that are essentially held afloat by Putin's regime.

So it starts... the armed uprising.
Russian Fighters Say They Stormed Border Region to Make Citizens ‘Rise Up’

Putin-Hyped ‘Ukrainian Terror Attack’ Actually Led by Russian Neo-Nazi
    https://uk.movies.yahoo.com/putin-summons-defense-officials-supposed-103546809.html

Russia’s Vladimir Putin has called an emergency meeting of the Security Council after a supposed attack by Ukrainian saboteurs on Russian territory early Thursday that was apparently led by a notorious Russian nationalist.

Lawmakers confirmed the meeting shortly after Russian propaganda outlets churned out a hodgepodge of horror stories claiming Ukrainian “saboteurs” had burst into the Bryansk region on the border, shot up a bus, and taken hostages.

In a huge plot twist, however, a group of Russians led by a well-known Russian nationalist claimed they were behind the attack.

The story of an attack by “Ukrainian saboteurs” is “all a lie by Kremlin propagandists,” the group said on Telegram.

“We’re not at war with civilians. We don’t kill those who are unarmed,” a man said in a video, purportedly from the scene in Bryansk, shared by the Russian Volunteer Corps.

“The time has come for ordinary Russian citizens to understand they are not slaves. Rise up and fight,” he said.

Multiple independent Russian outlets identified the man as none other than Denis Kapustin, otherwise known as “White Rex,” a Russian neo-Nazi who just a few months ago admitted to previously cooperating with Russian security services.

“I was for sure an agent of the Kremlin,” Kapustin told Russian journalist Oleg Kashin of his dealings with Russian authorities when he used to organize mixed martial arts tournaments throughout Russia.

He said he was “invited” to Ukraine in 2015 and in 2017 made his way there to join Ukrainian troops fighting against Russia.

Ukrainian authorities have denied involvement in events in Bryansk, saying it is either a “provocation” by the Kremlin or an act carried out by Russian partisans.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters the Security Council meeting would be held Friday and that it was not yet clear if the “terrorist attack”’ would “influence a change to the status of the ‘special military operation’” against Ukraine.

There were conflicting accounts on the situation. Citing unnamed emergency services sources, the state-run news agency RIA Novosti said preliminary information suggests “several people were captured in a store” in the village of Lyubechane. The supposed Ukrainian attackers also were said to have invaded the nearby village of Sushany. The state news agency also reported the FSB confirmed that “measures are being taken to destroy armed Ukrainian nationalists who have violated the state border.”

Gov. Alexander Bogomaz said the Ukrainian attackers had targeted a vehicle, leaving one dead and a child wounded. Several Russian propaganda outlets claimed it was actually a school bus that had been attacked, though local authorities denied that.

Details on the number of supposed hostages also differed wildly, with some pro-Kremlin outlets panicking over 100 hostages, while other accounts said there were only six. The culprits were described as a group of between 40 and 50 Ukrainian attackers.

Bizarrely, the head of the Novoropsk rural administration—where Sushany is located—could not confirm a hostage situation when asked by RT, according to RBC. “No one told us that there were hostages,” the official was quoted as saying.
