Looked to me like what Cabin Boy was doing there is beginning to switch from a "this is why we attacked Ukraine" justification to Russians over to a "Even if you oppose the war, you need to support it because Russia will collapse if you lose" argument. Subtle but a big difference. The other thing is that if they lose and the Americans/Nato agree not to enter/attack Russia, the Putin and Cabin Boy can argue that they extracted that agreement from the West.
