  1. GWB does not understand what legal fees are when you get sued....he is too far gone.

  2. The Court had also ruled that “colleges and universities may consider in admissions decisions ‘an applicant’s discussion of how race affected his or her life, be it through discrimination, inspiration, or otherwise.’”

ooops looks like GWB didnt read the SC case...

race was always one of many factors as part of the whole story.... not a determining factor at all.

  3. So you specifically applaud the SC decision and the results that classes are LESS DIVERSE? Wow you showing your true colors.

Also MIT class was still pretty diverse if you look at the statistics so your argument fails.

So these universities had to pay their own legal fees and the legal fees for the parties that sued them. Additionally their own insurance companies refused to cover the university legal fees -- stating the universities were clearly violating the law. Yes, the cost for these universities for pushing their failed DEI admission policies were significant-- just from the Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) lawsuit alone.

Additionally there were individual suits that were settled. The settlement details are not public -- but based on information about the cases the expectation is that the amounts were meaningful but nowhere near the tens of millions demanded in the filed lawsuits.

So you applaud students who should get in on merit being rejected. Good to know.

Affirmative action had withstood Supreme Court scrutiny for decades, most recently in a 2016 ruling involving a white student backed by Blum who sued the University of Texas after being rejected for admission.

Once Dems take the court back,AA will be back.

Once Dems take The White House back, more diversity will be back.Even the current court says race can be considered, schools just have to reword their admission policies.

It's racial discrimination. Why do you want it back? Black underperformance has little to do with the history of Jim Crow and slavery, much more to with with the IQ gap, which is a full standard deviation. Blame Mother Nature, not whites, and let them work the jobs that they are truly qualified for.

  8. I support AA and DEI because it counters racial discrimination.Half this country are racist conservitives. This is what happens when racist conservitives are in charge of hiring and admissions...

And Blacks are just as capable as whites,as Obama and his diverse administration proves when compared to Trumps white supremacist administrations.

There's a distribution curve, and only a very small percentage of blacks are qualified for high end jobs. They are pampered and groomed, and this doesn't do anything for most other blacks. Affirmative action promotes the rest and even high IQ blacks above their natural ability level. If the supply of high-IQ blacks was adequate to put them on a level playing field as whites, liberals wouldn't need quotas.

About half of all blacks fall below the classic mental retardation line at IQ 80. This is why every majority black school district in the country has low test scores.

The data on black test scores is out there on the Internet, you just have to search.

  10. This is standard white supremacist talking points.

And there are thousands of Blacks smarter and more qualified to serve in a Presidential cabinet than the ones Trump chose. We have a racist misogynist drunk with no high level military leadership who couldn't even run 2 non profit charities picked as Defense Secretary because he is white and a white supremacist.Geatz barely even practiced law yet he was Trumps first pick for AG because he was white and loyal. This happens on a large scale nationwide when white conservitives are in charge of hiring which is why DEI is needed.
