  1. DEI does not hand out jobs to people simply because they are black....they are still required to be qualified. end of discussion.

Today's example of DEI running amok in the university admissions process. The admission departments are obviously accepting and rejecting candidates based on race rather than judging them on their merit.

This high school student has top test scores, top grades, tutors underserved kids in coding, and is recognized as one of the top young programmers in the U.S. -- yet he was rejected by all the public colleges in the California. Whites and Asians need not apply. He now is working in a PhD level position in Google.

IBM's Red Hat SUED over culling 21 white men employees as CEO vowed to punish managers who missed DEI targets

A former sales chief is suing IBM's Red Hat for being sacked alongside 20 other white men during the software subsidiary's aggressive diversity push to hire more women and African Americans.

Allan Kingsley Wood, a white man, says he faced race and gender discrimination because of the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) scheme, which set hiring targets for women and minorities.

  4. Colleges don't just accept robots...they look for different interests, resumes, school activities, essays, recommendations etc...

Maybe it's been decades since you applied to schools...

  5. Doesn't mean the woman and minorities were NOT qualified.... but in your eyes they were.

Maybe you need to read the story -- including information about the UC admission criteria and how this brilliant, well-rounded student was rejected.

Mysteriously, the rich almost always seem to have the most merit.
