    Sounds like a good idea.

Why don't you take a trip to West Africa and see how you'd be living without being brought here. Blacks have it better in white majority countries than in their native lands.

There are plenty of examples of that, which just reinforces existing stereotypes that blacks are corrupt.

A lot of people are saying this about racism. It will go away if we stop talking about it

  3. Good Evening Mercor,

Well please never forgets why DEI was put in place decades ago.

White people in America have a historical track record of being racist and cruel towards black people in America. That is why DEI was put in place.

So, if America wants to remove DEI, then remove it. It is your world, not mine. Your rules, you can do whatever you want to do.

I do not understand what the fuss is about. If America wants to abolish DEI, then do it. No agreement is needed from us black folks. It is your world, do your thing.

Racism is America edge, racism is America power hand. It makes sense for America to keep their edge.

If I had an edge, I would abuse it as well to benefit me and my family.

  4. DEI has invaded FOX news now too! The white staff put up a head line that "Trump to Meet with President of Pamana!" This is what happens when you choose white over whether one is competent. :).

And the old white broad said Panama would not exist without trade with the U.S. so Panama (sorry for spelling it right) should be thankful and do whatever US says. MMMkay... If the U.S. now believes the world owes us everything, I think the world should just cut us off. No more goods from Asia, no more borrowing from China, no more oil and gas. no more iphones and computers built overseas.... Americans should just buy American made products at higher prices, 'Merica

  5. How utterly ridiculous to expect someone to feel even a shred of gratitude for being handed a golden goose that lays three billion eggs a year—forever.

I mean, who in their right mind would appreciate such a puny, insignificant windfall?

DEI is being scrubbed out of existence. Long overdue.

GM, Pepsi, Disney, others scrub some DEI references from investor reports

  10. Target is facing the harsh reality that actions have consequences after ending their DEI initiatives.

The retailer is currently being sued for allegedly hiding the risks of ending the company’s DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) programs after customers angry about the move started a boycott.

Last month, Target joined major corporations across the country who have been rolling back diversity initiatives in the wake of President Trump taking power. The company also issued a memo that said it would end its Racial Equity Action and Change program and will be “stopping all external diversity-focused surveys including HRC’s Corporate Equality index,” the Advocate reports.

The backlash to the move was swift, with civil rights activists and people across social media calling for a boycott. Georgia pastor Dr. Jamal Bryan even told his congregation that they should participate in a “40-day fast from Target.”

Now, the mega-store is realizing that while ditching diversity programs may win over Republicans, there are also very real consequences.

Target shareholders, led by the City of Riviera Beach Police Pension Fund in Florida, filed a class action lawsuit, claiming Target defrauding them by “artificially inflated” stock prices and failing to warn inventors about how removing DEI and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) policies could cause stock prices to plummet, Forbes reports.

The lawsuit also says that Target concealed the backlash it suffered from the May 2023 Pride Month campaign after the company removed the LGBTQ+ merchandise after confrontations happened in stores.

Target lost $15.7 billion of market value after share prices fell 22% on Nov. 20, 2024.

The lawsuit was filed after January 24, when Target announced it was ending its DEI initiatives. This move walked back the company’s commitment to diversity that increased after the police killing of George Floyd in 2020 when the retailer created a program to support Black businesses.
