If you have the opportunity to go to college, I say go to college. You can trade while you're enrolled and the markets will still be around when you graduate.
I'll never understand the infatuation with large cities, but I grew up in one, so maybe that's why. You'll be dealing with a very high cost of living and some insane competition for jobs. Omaha, NE is where I'd want to be. Whatever you do, don't major in finance.
