Defining Pullback

Hi this post is to discuss whats are the different ways to define pullback in trend mathematically. Anyone has good ideas to discuss?

As a starting point for the discussion, what definition do you use?

 

defining a pullback is easy.

finding congestion mathematically (coding) before the next break up is a little more challenging.
