The allies are confronting the Taleban and Al Quaeda on the economic, political and military fronts. We really need to put the last brick into the wall against them. The last brick is on the religious front. The other fronts can all be won and still the war is lost. The Allies need to make and support the Islamic moderates who are willing to speak up against terrorism. Condemming the waste of lives on faith and religious grounds. Why should the extremists have a near monopoly of Islamic support ? Many of the people encouraging violence are mentally ill psychopaths. In any Western society they would be in mental institutions like Broadmoor. They should be shown up for what they really are - killers.
