Deciding on weekly picks.

  1. With a cash account I am not limited by PDT, and I am invested in several stocks as well as 2 mutual funds. I am learning to trade as a hobby. I have done paper trading, I find that the actual act of trading is a little harder than paper trading for some reason.

  2. don't do weekly picks, doesn't work. just have a strategy and see where it works best, and spam it in the best area

Several systems and methods use Bolinger bands. If your stats show a positive expectancy, then you may be on to something.
As you look around at setups you might find something in here to put in the tool box.
"Trading at Support & Resistance provides greater conviction" is helpful imho.

As for watchlists if you tend to trade 5 days a week, then, check the forum in the AM and you might catch one of KCalhoun's Today's Watchlist posts.
Watchlist seems like a topic worthy of its own Thread(s). Maybe some stock and etf traders will start one up.

Here's a random oldie from KC, 12/23 Today's Watchlist: FRSX CLNE GME RIOT SPWR UAVS
