Deciding on a Backtesting and Trading Platform

  3. Gyles, your review has been interesting. However, would it be possible to have a word or pdf version of each review? I mean a separate word/pdf for each product, so we can understand and analyse better, as it is hard to follow with all the posts in between.

    Sincere thanks JaiSreeram for pointing that out. It did make sense and is a good idea, shall do that.

    I shall prepare the Word Versions of all the reviews, starting from TradeStation.

  5. I am going to select a back testing platform soon, I would like to ask a question. Does TradersStudio have anything like the expert commentary in TradeStation, as I really like that feature and want to know if TradersStudio can do something like this?

    We have a feature called expert advisors and they work just like expert commentary with one additional feature. You have one window for the active charts commentary and a panel containing all commentary for that session. This can be used to create a html page of a portfiolo of commentary results and save that html page for further use.

  7. Do you still plan on making the PDF of the review available. I have gone though the thread and the features of all the products are a little confusing. I want to decide on a platform soon so I can continue my studies
