86% days gross positive is about as good as it gets hitman. You are a great trader. Crank up your size a little in 2002 and you should be able to net $200,000. I finished december up $17,000 net. Somewhat of a dissapointment because i was up $24,000 after the 9th day of the month. I had 2 huge blowouts , the worst of which occured on my last trading day of the year. Definitely left me with alot to think about over the long weekend that i took. My blowups served as a much needed wake up call. Hopefully this will be a lesson to me not to trade too much size when i don't really have a good handle on the market. Especially in the opening minutes of the day. Both of my blowups this month happened in the first half hour of trading. Overall i should be thrilled about making 17k in just my second month of professional trading at a proprietary firm (not including 3 years of trading from home with online brokers). I'm setting my goals high for 2002. I'm targeting $1200/day net. I believe this is possible if i'm able to do a better job of controling my losses. I had 2 days this month where i lost $5k. That isn't acceptable. $300/day+ would be great. That is a good living. But there is so much potential in this business. I'm going to redouble my efforts in january towards becoming a better trader. Silk, If you get $1200 a day in just your 3rd month of trading you will be making nearly as much as me (and I have several years of trading experience)... if you can hit $1200 consistently, you will be the best newbie I have ever come across... best of luck in this, and keep us posted. Candle
