  1. Don't be too hard on yourself Hitman.. you should be proud of the fact that you kept your winning streak this pay period.

You are becoming an excellent trader, and it is a pleasure to watch you develop.

    The Bottom Line:

    Gross Positive: 212 (86.2%)

    Net Total: $73,952
    Gross Total: $150,865

    Average Net Gain: +661
    Average Net Loss: -605
    True Average: +300.61

(I will post a graph of my P&L on my web page this weekend)

January: Hard to complain about my first profitable month ever. +2892 (Good)

February: A great month, awesome follow-up to January that got me that critical first check. Even if I get checks 50 times the size at some point in my career, the first check will always be the most memorable. +12389 (Excellent)

March: I was playing at a level that I was not capable of playing at, I had many flaws in my game but bailed out by a great market environment. Everything I touched turned into gold, in the end I had a $5000 day, two days later I lost $4000. It was a sign of my immaturity as a trader, and I thought anything less than six figures for the year would be a big disappointment. +17458 (Good)

April: Less than two weeks into the month I would be up 12K, I thought I would smash my March record, it was too good to be true. I lost appreciation for $2K day's, and the market would teach me a harsh lesson. Coupled with some emotional issues, I would lose $10K within the next two weeks and it would take me three long months to hit a new high. +3219 (Poor)

May: Every single weakness I had in my game would be fully exposed. I would lose more than 4K first pay period and suffered my only down month of the year. -619.85 (Poor)

June: It was very important for me to get back on my feet, and I did just that with tight defense. +3233 (Average)

July: Not a bad month for summer time, even more importantly I was able to hit a new high for the year. +7188 (Good)

August: Tough month, but I still should have done better. +1330 (Average)

September: The most disappointing month of the year. Volume picked up as I eagerly anticipated all summer long, and the market was a gold mine the week after the tragedy. I was totally shut down in a month that provided one of the top 3 trading weeks of the year. Every time I make a run I would take some hits and doing worse than August in a month like this is plain unacceptable. +954 (Abysmal)

October: Solid month, a nice rebound from September. +8781 (Good)

November: Solid month, not as good as October however. +6912 (Average)

December: First ever flawless pay period, and perhaps even more important than the actual P&L, was the promotion into the role of a team leader, which opens the door for some awesome opportunities as I have recruited some serious talents around me, I feel good about 2002. +9607 (Excellent)

    Overall: +73950 (Average)

It was a solid first full year of profession trading. I made the lower range of my estimation (reduced after I realize that March was a fluke). This was merely a warm-up, a taste of what's to come, I can't afford to get too excited, as to be where I want to be, there will be a lot more blood and sweat shed along the way. Still, the first step is always the hardest, and I am glad I have took it.

Hopefully, the market will cooperate for both investors and traders alike, and we will all have a better 2002. If you are still struggling, just remember, it can't rain, all the times.

Money is merely the power to give the world to my loved ones, in itself, it can not bring happiness. May the dream come true . . .

  9. Why do you guys post this BS? Qwik, how could you know what he "deserves"? You couldn't. These are the kind of statements that strike me as both irrational and asinine...at the same time. 'Oh you deserve all the love and $$$ life can offer' LOL how could you know...are you his dad? LOL
