For idiots like Beautiful Stranger ( BS ) First you posted a lot of nonsense about the fraud in last elections. Now you found a new item. You are just a truck driver, not a scientist who knows what he speaks about. Only stupid people think they know everything, smart people know they don't know everything and have a more modest attitude. I can give you a location where, on weekly meetings, janitors and toilet cleaners, try to solve the big issues in the world. PS: they also voted for Trump.
In spite of my background, I actually am following the science, unlike most. I am directly calling out propaganda that misuses statistics, etc. I am posting information from official sources and showing the mismatch between vaccine policy and science in this country. I have asked others to do the same as I did, here, in this thread I started. For whatever reason, no one has decided to challenge my findings. I welcome anyone, preferably many, to go through and refute my statements point by point, if they can. For all the posts on Covid in Elitetrader, don’t tell me they don’t have the time. There may be something else they lack, but time is not it. When the propagandists talk about adverse Covid outcomes among children, they don’t discuss numbers of children because it provides context into the actual seriousness of Covid-19 in children, thus defeating their narratives. When propagandists try to justify sweeping vaccine mandates, they quote total Covid deaths and use weasel words describing adverse Covid outcomes like “Up to” in order to include statistics that don’t apply to most people. By the way, Covid death statistics include many people who were in their last year of life, people who had Covid while dying of another cause, or people who died as a result of someone else having Covid. For example, a heart patient whose treatment was delayed because a hospital was overwhelmed with Covid patients. Of course, there have been deaths directly caused by Covid, but the number of Covid deaths are inflated, causing related statics to be a misleading indicator on the seriousness of Covid. Further, the number of infected by Covid, but are not part of the statistics concerning Covid cases is three times larger according to a previously posted article, further undermining the reported seriousness of Covid. In the majority of Covid infections, the symptoms are so minor, the infected do not bother to seek treatment or consult with a healthcare professional. When the Covid-19 statistics are broken down by age groups and comorbidities, either taking into account CFR or estimated total infection rates, the global Covid-19 pandemic is partly a manufactured crisis in some countries for the purpose of consolidating political power. Regardless of the propaganda, vaccines, and vaccine mandates, Covid-19 will continue to develop new strains and these new strains will in tun continue to evolve. If we see fewer annual Covid deaths in the coming years, it would be more likely due to the culling of the weak than anything our healthcare system or our politicians come up with. That is reality, based on science, and is our future. Also in our future are global pandemics that will not be based on a Coronavirus, potentially leaving the over-vaccinated against Covid particularly vulnerable. Vaccine mandates for viruses of only moderate impact are unsound policy, if national goals include the long term immunological health of the general population. Again, there is no escaping the science or survival of the fittest in the long run on a over-populated and increasingly connected planet, no matter how refined or quantity the propaganda might otherwise suggest. Salude.
You are promoting the extermination of a large number of people via not following proper public health policy. While you are at it -- why don't we stop building city sewer systems and simply let common diseases spread -- after all "survival of the fittest". Your screed is yet another example of typical intolerable anti-vaxxer nonsense -- pseudo-science mixed with falsehoods pushing a false narrative. We get it - you want a whole bunch of people to die and you think your "genes are superior" & will magically prevent your personal death from Covid.
Let's address the fabricated myocarditis information in your pile of nonsense. Yes, the study which anti-vaxxers use to make all sorts of exaggerated claims about vaccines and myocarditis has been retracted as being incorrect. Study saying COVID-19 vaccines cause heart inflammation that was hyped by anti-vaxxers, withdrawn due to miscalculation https://www.businessinsider.com/stu...cines-cause-heart-inflammation-pulled-2021-10 A preprint study stated that 1 in 1,000 recipients of the COVID-19 vaccine could get myocarditis. The study has been withdrawn after a miscalculation overestimated the risk of the heart condition. The COVID-19 is safe to get, and there is more risk of getting myocarditis from COVID-19 than the jab. A preprint study first published on MedRxiv that claimed a 1 in 1,000 risk of contracting myocarditis from a COVID-19 vaccination has been withdrawn due to miscalculations. MedRxiv is a website that publishes studies that have yet to be peer-reviewed, according to Reuters. The study was first published on September 16 and conducted by researchers at The University of Ottawa Heart Institute. It was widely used to promote the idea that the COVID-19 vaccine is unsafe for use. However, the study has been retracted due to a miscalculation, Reuters reported. The rate of myocarditis - the inflammation of the heart muscle - was calculated by dividing the number of COVID-19 vaccines in Ottawa by the number of incidences of the heart condition. By their calculations, the risk of myocarditis was 1 in 1,000 or 0.1%. However, the numbers used by the study were wrong. The authors largely underestimated the amount of vaccines delivered, giving a number 25 times smaller than the actual amount. They initially said that the number of vaccines delivered was 32,379 – when it was actually 854,930. As a result of this miscalculation, the study was withdrawn on September 24, with the researchers saying in a statement: "Our reported incidence appeared vastly inflated by an incorrectly small denominator (ie number of doses administered over the time period of the study). We reviewed the data available at Open Ottawa and found that there had indeed been a major underestimation, with the actual number of administered doses being more than 800,000 "In order to avoid misleading either colleagues or the general public and press, we the authors unanimously wish to withdraw this paper on the grounds of incorrect incidence data," they added. The University of Ottawa Heart Institute also issued a statement of apology for any misinformation being spread as a result of this study. Using data from the Vaccine Safety Datalink, the CDC advised Reuters that other studies have shown that there was not "a significant association between myocarditis/pericarditis and mRNA vaccines," when looking at all age groups, although they did caution "an association between mRNA vaccines and myocarditis/pericarditis in younger individuals," particularly higher among young males. However, a preprint study on the prevalence of myocarditis in young men found that they are six times more likely to develop myocarditis from COVID-19 than from the vaccine. The CDC continues to stress the importance of getting the vaccine, stating that any known risks of the COVID-19 vaccine are far outweighed by the benefits.

Actually, quite the opposite. I am thinking long term versus short term. Further, “Proper health policy” does not impose vaccine mandates on the general public for Covid-19, a virus of only moderate impact. While you are at it -- why don't we stop building city sewer systems and simply let common diseases spread -- after all "survival of the fittest". You have created an example based on false equivalence. The concept of “Survival of the fittest” is an extremely important concept that not only applies in nature, but also in human systems. I will do a deep dive on this in future posts as it has far reaching implications. Your screed is yet another example of typical intolerable anti-vaxxer nonsense -- pseudo-science mixed with falsehoods pushing a false narrative. Yet again, you are making statements without supporting them. In contrast, I directly address points made by journalists, social media posters, scientists, and official regulatory bodies. I don’t fear being proven wrong, because I’m better off when my ideas and actions are based on reality. By the same token, so is society, which is why I occasionally will contest propaganda based on misleading information. We get it - you want a whole bunch of people to die and you think your "genes are superior" & will magically prevent your personal death from Covid.[/QUOTE Your quotes, not mine. Interestingly, I read a large study of vaccine effectiveness on Covid-19 today. Notice I did not say Covid-19 vaccine effectiveness on Covid. The study went through medical records of those who received influenza vaccines only within a specified time frame. The study also analyzed medical records of those who received any vaccine except Covid and Influenza within a specified time frame. The conclusion was Covid vaccines had the greatest statistical advantage against Covid, with Influenza taking up second place, any other vaccine taking third place, with placebo in back of the pack. While this study noted the possibility those who get vaccines may be more likely to be aware of health related issues than the general public, potentially skewing results, I can’t help but wonder if regular immune system activation, like exercising a muscle, leads to a stronger immune system, whether this activation is vaccine or virus related. The preceding information potentially has far reaching implications concerning policy. For example, PPE, avoidance, and lockdown policies are depreciated except when combating seriously dangerous pathogens and vaccines may be beneficial for one’s immune system, even against viruses the vaccine was not intended for. I am curious to see if future studies support the previously mentioned study results and if it validates ideas presented in the previous paragraph. However, even if vaccines have net benefit for immune health, mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations for the general public still has not been reasonably justified.
Reply to your post is inline, below: QUOTE="gwb-trading, post: 5470382, member: 9113"] Let's address the fabricated myocarditis information in your pile of nonsense. Are you willing to state Covid vaccines never cause Myocarditis? Probably not, even as you repeat your false statement below, only to have your own posted article contradict your statement. As far as Covid causing more Myocarditis than the vaccines, that is believable, but still insufficient to mandate vaccines for the general public. After all, those concerned about Covid are perfectly able to acquire the vaccines for it, right? Those who distrust the propagandist’s agenda should not be mandated vaccinations under threat of loss of livelihood. Yes, the study which anti-vaxxers use to make all sorts of exaggerated claims about vaccines and myocarditis has been retracted as being incorrect. Taking your posted article at face value, it does not say vaccines don’t cause Myocarditis, rather the number infected currently appear lower then previously believed. Further, as data continues to accumulate in the field, statistical information will reflect greater numbers, thus increasing confidence. In other words, the propagandists may be simply using normal statistical variation as sample sizes increase in an attempt to discredit information and those concerned about overreaching vaccine mandates that goes against the propagandist’s narratives. The Key debated point of your article has been underlined below for your convenience. The authors largely underestimated the amount of vaccines delivered, giving a number 25 times smaller than the actual amount. So vaccines have a Myocarditis risk of 1/25,000 according to the updated calculations of that particular study. How many healthy school age children have serious Covid complications, again? By serious, I mean significantly extended adverse changes in quality of life when compared to either the flu or typical Covid outcomes for that age group. We reviewed the data available at Open Ottawa and found that there had indeed been a major underestimation, with the actual number of administered doses being more than 800,000 I’m curious when the original study took place and whether the clinical definition of Myocarditis changed from then until recently. Perhaps I can get some ET posters who are concerned about Covid propaganda (Judging by the thread poll, the current majority of poll participants are quite concerned) and mandates to corroborate with me and review the related studies on this issue, as well as other issues. Since it seems many of us have plenty of time to post politics, why not use that time to potentially make a difference in the issues we are concerned about. There is some evidence that some of our ET conversations extend beyond the confines of ET, effectively amplifying our concerns. TAKE THE FUCKING VACCINE, LIKE THE CASTOR OIL YOU TOOK WHEN YOU WERE A KID. IT SUCKED FOR A DAY, BUT YOU GOT OVER IT! Holy SHIT! This nonsense has been going on for far too long! Fuckers!
Oh, my ears! Such language! Such music! Meanie! By the way, you have the wrong Time. The correct Time: As far as me getting vaccinated, it is too way late for me. There are, or at least were, four of my roommates coughing their precious little lungs out. First up was a 29 year old woman who had a pretty solid cough for a week. She “Self isolated” on the living room couch in front of the T.V. over the prior weekend. The second walking bioweapon was a 24 year old woman who had a cough for about 3 days. She came and went, so not too much exposure from her. Third up was a 30 year old something boyfriend of the 29 year old who has been experiencing an intermittent dry cough. The final roommate, aged early 50’s, had a confirmed case of Covid a little more than a year ago. He is coughing pretty solidly now. As for myself, the only interesting thing I’ve experienced so far was feeling hot, having a sore throat, and a light cough. Not Covid. Rather, post prandial thermogenesis along with a minor allergen in my meal causing the sore throat and related coughing for a few hours. Still not dead yet, but surely my number is coming up soon. Will you miss me?
Nope. Because you seem to think that 15-minute claptrap "Time" by "Pachamga Boys" is superior to Pink Floyd's "Time". Good riddance to bad taste. See you on the other side, man. P.S. I have a song for that, but I'll let it fester, while you fester on why your music sux, and mine is superior. Shouldn't bother you in the least, since you claim you are pretty much dead.
The so called "survival of the fittest" is already a long time replaced by the "survival of the smartest". Where I live we have several mandatory vaccinations from the day we are born. The results are clear and undeniable: we have less people that die from the day they are born, and we all live longer. Take away these vaccinations and the numbers of victims will go up again. I have no problem with anti vaxxers that die, as it is the result of the "survival of the smart". As they are not smart, they still follow the "survival of the fittest". It is a natural selection which leads to less votes for Trump. Maybe a sign send from God? This is hilarious. A truck driver that is expert in science and calls out real scientists. This is a perfect example of someone stupid who thinks he is smart. Do you have any education in any form of science? No. But you clearly think you have. Or you might even think you are smart enough and don't need any education. Copying and pasting from internet articles that for 99% are to difficult for you to understand is a typical phenomene with stupid people.
