I have hypertention, and I have avoided sodium so much my sodium blood serum levels keep coming in at borderline lowest-acceptable levels, and the doc tells me to eat a bit more sodium. Salt is an essential nutrient. Having too-little salt in the diet is just as bad as having too much. Everything in moderation and it is all good, man!

Doesn’t matter why China sold T, it was old data. The point is why they are selling T in the first place, among many assets they can sell, i.e., exporting more goods and services to other regions. Raising interest rate led to lower T price would be reasonable economic guess. Geopolitics could be a consideration. Decoupling could drive the motivation. Coincidentally, China and India loaded up gold last year, more than the usual pace.
