So we are just over 50% of the American population is fully vaccinated and the fully vaccinated represent 9 & 15 percent of the hospitalizations and deaths. Seems like the vaccinated are much better protected than the unvaccinated.

The KFF data shows that it was correct until the past week. Note that it is still correct in all of the red states having the largest breakouts right now with the lowest vaccination rates. The hospitals are being overwhelmed by unvaccinated COVID cases. There is an easy fix for the problem - get vaccinated.
