  1. Well, you just about got it right, LOL.

We've done pairs trading for decades, nothing new, just added a lot to the mix IMO. I am proud of my guys at PairCo, and don't apologize for showing it.

No "rose colored glasses" - still about 70/30 winners to losers (pairs, not trades), but it's nice to see a large group do so well.

The fundamentals determine the long/short...tape reading helps with the entry exits, and profit targets and layer additions determine trigger points.

Futures do give us a slight advantage with the tape reading, but as you all know, it takes a heck of lot more to determine proper entry/exit points.

Now back to the "Main Event" - fire the lawyers, fund the escrow accounts, and have at it!!

    Don :p

(Back to my eMini trading)....quite a day, eh? ... "don't tell anyone"

  3. Don, I remember talking to you at one of the trading Expo's. You were totally against Emini trading and said no one ever makes money in it. Heck, you were VERY loud about no one making money in it. So why are you trading them?

  4. I also felt the ET board was a little quieter, but I thought that's because people are busy recently, and there is nothing to talk about anyway. Previously when the market was choppy and sideways the market-top callers and their enemies were always fighting each other but now there is nothing to talk about. Maybe later.

  5. Naz just retraced back to the June 05 highs, wiping out almost an entire year of gains. I suspect people got clobbered and are licking wounds right about now. I would be looking long, but still sense weakness. Fortunately, I dont use any of the above "feelings" to trade with :) Just follow the rules.

  6. Sorry, forgot to put the "tongue in cheek" after my comment... just a little joke....however, I "play around" a bit but always start by offsetting share delta's, as a hedge..then trade (real) small.

Bob, on the other hand, has always traded futures...did a few 300 lots today....having a good day...

Now, how is the last hour going to go today....pairs are "all over the place"....

And, GM up a couple of bucks...you can see why in the Trader Monthly "Best Trade/Worst Trade" column coming up....
