anybody know how to get a list of available dde links in dtq prophetx... i signed up for the free trial and can't seem to find what i am looking for... thanks
Is that DTN? I have DNTIQ and it comes with a sample Excel spreadsheet that has the macro for the DDE stuff.
DTN ProphetX has drag and drop DDE from the Quote Sheets. Just highlight the fields you want from the Quote Sheet, and drag and drop them into your spreadsheet. The DDE link will automatically be created for you. When you ask for a "list of available DDE links", what exactly are you referring to? You can create a DDE link from any field in a Quote Sheet. You can also Link Historical data from the Tabular display, and text from fixed table news stories. If you have more questions, feel free to PM me and I will do my best to help. If you have a spreadsheet using DDE from another feed, you can send us a copy and we should be able to get it updated to use ProphetX's DDE.
