  1. Good points... i don't see it happening though which is why many of us stop posting in chat or here with the same frequency we did before...

    Sort'uv agree.

The problem is the history with certain user names. There's about a handful of names that when mentioned along with talking about their education content...debates occur even if the person is no longer here at this forum or dead (e.g. Jack Hershey).

Same old debates...nothing new. Only good thing is that new members with less than 20 posts show up in the debates and act as if they've been here at this forum for many years...we then know the new user is a former member that changed his/her user name. :D

I guess I see nothing wrong with grown people debating about whatever they feel they want to debate about...even if I believe it to be old, or nothing new.

If I don't like a debate, I simply can ignore it.

That's great if shenanigans can be uncovered; but the problem is when members are falsely (intentionally or not) accused of being someone they're not; and then are 'put' into the position of trying to prove a negative, and their innocence. Imo.

  4. Way too much thought into my thread.

I actually found what I was looking for so I am good.

Quick recap, at first I was looking for old threads that were once put into PDF form. There were a few floating around at one point. I think it was a mix of info shared on various boards. I had them at one point but when I switched computers they were all lost.

In my search for them I seen that a lot of that info was not applied in today's markets and it seems the basis where SLA/AMT was formed.

No need to continue this thread as I found what I was looking for. I'm not sure where or how a debate, let alone a heated one, can come from my thread.

Thank you to all who have replied.

If anyone who has been studying and using SLA/AMT and would like to share their experiences, thoughts, ideas, etc about it I would appreciate it. If not, that is fine too.

Im going through the Straight Line thread currently. It's going to keep me busy for awhile. LOL

I did try to send fortydraws a message but it seems he has it restricted and hasn't been on here in months.

Thanks again to all and if anyone is interested in sending me a message to discuss SLA that would be great.
