  1. All types of trading will be alive as long as someone is willing to continue losing while you are winning. It is that simple.

    If you want to try to keep doing the same things over and over again without adapting, then, yes, trading is dead for you.

  2. cutten makes some fine points, but just to clarify, the SOES bandits were long gone by the time decimals came in.

    fair to say, anything resembling low hanging fruit has disappeared. Not sure exactly why, probably due to the way market making has changed, and some billion dollar hft firms picking off anything resembling free money, even 100 shares of low volume garbage

  3. just what do you call "low hanging fruit"? i don't recall any, it's as easy now As ever was

    make 6 figures a year sitting on my ass, how easier can it get :confused:
