db, I sometimes trade your breakout method in the Simplicity thread. But it seems that whenever I don't take a trade, it works, but when I do, it turns out to be a false breakout. I think your method also has a lot of validity. Do you have any other tips/updates on how to use this method effectively? thanks, lux

No. You may want to re-consider the aspect ratio on your chart window. I've noticed that some of you have your windows so scrunched-up that practically any trend at all looks like a strong one. Therefore you end up taking trades that are hardly trending at all. Having a misleading aspect ratio also lengthens the candles/bars so that nearly every candle looks like an expansion bar that's really going somewhere when it's really going pretty much nowhere.
