Well... i can play and enjoy playing "pretty vacant" and "God save the Queen" on my guitar. And Sid Vicious'es Mum lives about 4 miles away (if shes still alive!).

Do i get a credit for that?

  2. Re-read my post on page 7 and look at the attachment - it's this exact trade. I'll bet that despite my rantings, you glossed over my very first post (to get to the 'method' quicker) and do not have the correct screen setup

Am I right? Because if so then you are trading with one eye closed, in my humble 'Rotten' opinion!

  5. If you ask a question about a specific trade setup, please post a SCREENSHOT of the chart/s. If you don't know how to do this:

    - Go to www.irfanview.com and download/install it (it's free). On installation let if be the default viewer for all 'image' files.

    - Set up the screenshot in your charting software and hit ALT+PRINT SCREEN on the keyboard to copy the image to the clipboard

    - Then go into Irfanview and select Edit menu & Paste. Then click File/Save As to save the screenshot (save it in GIF format)

    - Upload this file with your message, where it says Attach File at the bottom left of the screen.

  6. It was on the very first post, but it's ultra important to track all four symbols symmetrically on your screen. If you still haven't done this yet, take a 'time-out' and get this done!

Intermarket analysis is the backbone of how how I make trade selections. It is as, if not more important than the rules themselves.

    So do it!!!!

  7. June 12, 03:00 - 05:00 EST with the two Eurex symbols. See attached screenshot. Straight up for 15 pts in the DAX. That's about $430 per contract.

One thing about this method: if you get the trade selection 'right', these breakouts rarely EVER look back. Waiting for a pullback is just futile. You need to enter your breakout order in advance.

kgharris - I realise the breakout bar was not going to push through the upper Bollinger line but I overrode that rule (maybe I should scrap it?) because both symbols looked so good at the time. Don't you hate discretion? :)

  8. Johnny, what the hell is a shag? Ah, maybe I don't want to know...

  9. A "shag" is an Old World colloquialism for coitus, fuck, screw etc... it is rather quaint... the term "shag" was used in the title of the Austin Powers film "The spy who shagged me"... indeed one of the bitches in the film went by the name of Felicity Shagwell :D

  10. Apparently in the state of South Carolina, to "shag" means to dance. While at Brit University, one of the American exchange students from South Carolina walked up to this nice BritBoy she fancied at a student party. Straight up to him and said: "Would you like to shag?" ...he was rather at a loss for words since he'd only met her 2 minutes earlier!

Reminds of my first visit to yankland. Going into an Office Supplies shop and asking the 17 year old female shop assitant where the rubbers are .... (yank translation: erasers).

I was ever so polite too: "Excuse me, could you tell me where the rubbers are please". She pauses, looks at me like I'm a weirdo and replies: "Maybe you should try the drug store". Me, thinking she's pulling my leg: "But surely you must sell rubbers here ...!"

    :)
