  3. For the record it wasn't Hershey's thread, it was started by a new person called PawWaw who soon disappeared once JH and his 'followers' (I have to be careful with my words) showed up. Which unfortunately happens to a lot of new people who come to this site. Your last point is fairly insightful!

I'm sure some Moderator will respond that they are not forcing me to leave, with some story about the rules of the site and not letting it become a Yahoo-type board. But the truth is that staying under their condtions is not an option. Freedom of expression and the ability to have some fun are pre-requisites for me. Without it, I have no interest in continuing. Sometimes rules are meant to be bent under certain conditions i.e. when a person has offered something of value.

I actually think that most of the Moderators understand this point and let a lot of stuff go. I don't know who this new moderator "tnt" is, but he obviously is of an alternative mindset. It probably took him 3 seconds to decide to censor me after seeing a post with bad language in it. But he probably never read the first two posts of this thread which took me two hours to formulate for the benefit of others. Still, I am not a whinger and whiner. I just loathe censorhsip. But if that's the way it is, so be it.

Now I really must sign off!

    lol..
I am not a 'new' moderator.
I am moderator for this futures forum for several years now..

point is, I don't like people insulting people in this forum. your posts will get deleted eventually if you do so, in this forum.

noone talked about a ban of JR, as some posts are implying here. and everyone's contribution is appreciated, when done politely.

Don't despair. At least we still have Walter (whose posts, I note, are still here).

it's fair to say that. however I note that I asked people to calm down (and respect the site's policy) and simply deleted posts after that. again nothing against anyone.

also I must say I also reacted after several readers asked me to kill the language.

    What baloney.

    Courtesy of Walter:

So for a record , You are full of shit when you posting that you do not know how many trades you did. You just do not want to include losing ones.

This is not an insult, tnt? Perhaps you could define "insult" for us.

You screwed up, tnt. Unfortunately, it's too late to do anything about it.

Let's all rush over to Technical Analysis and discuss MACD settings.

being insulting and insults are 2 different things. some language is not welcome in ET's policy. some forums are easy on it. and usually this one is too, until people complain to me.
being insulting and obstruct threads won't usually get you a ban, we introduced long ago the 'ignore' function for that. but some should not push their luck though.
for the rest I don't have to convince you or whatever. you may agree or not. it's fine.
