I started with swing trading and switched to daytrading. But now I do both in two seperate accounts, best of both worlds.
Hey ADX, Good poll. I didn't vote because I do both. I started out daytrading, and started swing trading several years after. I find that after many of my swings begin to reach stop or target, they present daytrading opportunities. Daytrading those swing allows me to trade them with more conviction and certainty (for lack of a better word), since I have a good grasp of the larger timeframe. To be more specific, the daytrades are held for several hours, more like intra day position trading. It would be interesting to see the poll results if you added tw more: Both...more swing than day Both...more day than swing
