Greetings, hello and goodevening, Todays video discusses and addresses some additional questions we have had about panic taking place in the market. The markets are alive and you must be alert and ready when panic sets in! So Alex has created Saturday night video you can watch instead of going out with your buddies at the local watering hole. Why do good traders need to teach others how to trade and also ask for a fee? Traders should be too busy to help people. I read a book by Tony OZ and I'm pretty sure he recommended puretick as well but I'm still skeptical. If these puretick guys were consistently making money, they should have no business making these sloppy videos. I suppose this is just a word of caution for anyone that views there videos. Yea, the videos are free and so forth. but the bottom line is that they are solely advertisements for puretick's services.
Hello Monty, Just got back from Hawaii and had to catch up with things. Plus we have had a tumultuous week. We are almost at my target of 9,999 on the Dow that I did announce on 10/06/07. I will answer your question with a couple of questions: What do you do for a living? Are you an accountant, a truck driver, a department store worker, an electrician? Whatever, assuming you consider yourself half good at your job, do you ask to be paid or do you get satisfaction solely from your expertise and your boss saying, "Great job Monty. And good to see you don't ask for a salary like your other greedy co-workers?" If you call your lawyer, who hopefully is a decent lawyer, when he asks for a fee do you refuse to pay, stating if he were any good he would be winning large payout law suits and therefore could afford to work for you for free? During the many years it took me to turn myself around from consistent loser to consistent winner every service, every book, every educator I had to deal with cost me money. Not one thing in life ever came to me for free. Even beggars have to pay the cost of humiliation. So now that I have achieved success in trading, I am not going to be a coach for free. I am sure there would be tons of golf coaches who would love to work with Tiger Woods for nothing---for just the experience, yet Tiger pays big bucks for his coaches. Yes Tiger has a coach. Hmmm. Maybe he does not know how to play golf? D Wade has a coach. Guess he needs to learn how to play basketball? Phil Jackson made lots of money from basketball as a player and later as a successful coach. Why does he need to charge for his services now? Did I answer your question Monty, or do you still feel that the wealthier a person is proves how incompetent they are? Successfully, Alex L. Their videos teach nothing because they have nothing of value to teach. To a newcomer they might look educational but then again how does the newcomer know that the video really has any real substance? The newcomer can't tell the difference. In there lies the true heart of the snake oil, they sugar coat it so it sounds good eventhough when you taste it (trade it) you realizes it's pure shit (Pun very well intended!). Daniel
Thanks for the reply...Anyway, I'm a new trader ("professional" if you want to call it that considering I trade for a firm) and been doing it for about five months. All I am going to say is that there are senior/older guys here actively trading/managing upto $35 million accounts each and none of them would take the time to make these educational types of videos. They would also never tell their strategies to the public because it may cost them eventually. Maybe my reasoning just says that any good trader can make enough financially trading, that he shouldn't have to put in the time to make such videos. I'm not disputing your service considering I never signed up for it, but im just saying in general that good traders make enough money trading and they do not to put as much time in making educational videos and teaching others. Perhaps writing one book is one way, but a full service is kind of strange. I do not mean any disrespect, but from my experience the majority of these vendors are unsuccessful traders that only can make money by selling their "knowledge".
Just replying Monty, Lewis Borsellino is considered a "pretty good" trader, LOL. And he ran a trading/education program. My previous surgeon at John's Hopkins (pretty good too since he is considered one of the top three in the world at what he does) also teaches. Why? If he is so good why does he need the money? I do not believe that argument. I have one of the top trading records in the world over the past year, yet I still teach? Why? Maybe we like to. Alex
Oh Calling all Sudsos, mandelmouthbreaths, weavers and other ET imbeciles. Why not take an opportunity to meet me today. You can (to my face this time) tell me about drug dealing wives and any other fancy that hits your puerile minds. Oh yes. You can watch me land my new aircraft at the KAVL, Asheville, NC airport today. Since I will be flying in with a paper airplane, you can laugh. For those who know such things, you can follow the flight plan on various flight trackers on the net. I am filing IFR so it pops up. You can bring your pathetic trading statements so I can have a good laugh. Successfully, Alex L. Wasilewski Co-Founder & Head Trader Trades That Work www.puretick.com 1-877-GOLONG1 (1-877-465-6641)
