While on a trip to Norway (Stavanger): A draft beer at any pub will set you back $25 dollars! Per pint!
Good points. If it was difficult for us, just imagine this new generation growing up on social media and video games (and shitty music), and expecting instant gratification/results. Do they know what is to work for a decade, in order to see the full fruits of your labor, like a Japanese prisoner of war, with an obsession? Not in a million years... My advice is: Become a Veterinarian (ANYTHING is easier than trading). You get to play with puppies and cats all day, people respect you, and if you fuck up and kill someone's pet during surgery, it's not like you killed their mother. You can get over it.
What?? According to this website a pint of beer in Norway costs 7.08 euros: https://budgettraveller.org/cheapest-beer-in-europe-check-my-europe-cheap-beer-index/ (Prices from 2012 however).
NORWAY. It's retarded. I was BASE jumping in Kjerag. As soon as people knew someone was flying in, they made the guy buy the world in Duty-Free. Yes, $20-$25 dollars per pint, at a regular bar (NOT a fancy place). This is the "normal" price... I checked the site. But no. I am pretty sure, as I rang a tab. It could also be because we were in a very remote area in Kjerag, and it was the ONLY pub there. But $20 for sure. $57 dollars for THREE BEERS. Confirmed... https://sites.utexas.edu/culturescontexts/2013/08/29/why-is-norway-so-expensive-think-living-wages/ "The tab for the three beers: $57. Needless to say, I headed for a store the next day to check out retail prices. I noticed that they mostly sell beer individually, not per six-pack. It is because buying a six-pack would bankrupt you." PS. @Blaze Day-trading paid for the above mentioned trip (helicopters, and everything)...
I do come to Brussels quite a lot for my business. I don't need a ride, but I will be happy to buy you a beer in front of a "carbonade", if you show me how you do it. I will gladly show you how I do it, in return. Best!
