This guy naively believes that profitable trading is all about time frames. So if you use a 5 or 15-min (as a daytrader) you will automatically lose in the long run. (?!?) On the other hand, according to his "logic", if you use the 4h, daily, weekly or monthly time frames, you will automatically make money in the long run, because now you are swing and position trading. Total nonsense. In reality, if you ask 100 random traders to make 1 000 day-trades, swing trades and position trades, the 1 000 position trades won't be any more profitable than the 1 000 day-trades, assuming the same capital is used in all cases.
You nailed it, there will be deluded bullshiters on this thread claiming to be profitable day traders. But none can show any real proof, because they dont have any.
14 years before I am profitable. Fortunately through that time I broke even after comms. OP should just admit, it is either too much work, would take too long or beyond their ability. If you cannot consider that is the most probable description, you should not try because it will be beyond your ability. Easy money is a myth. Day Trading is hard work to get consistent and profitable.

Whether someone is a daytrader / swing trader or how you recognize someone as a daytrader is irrelevant. Day trader or not, objective is to earn money. While unfortunate exceptions do happen, in covid mkt if you can't make money, trading is not for that person. But asking pnl for believing someone is unwarranted.(in my humble opinion). You should be able to get a superficial understanding about any one from their replies. A good trader admits his mistake and probably will not repeat atleast knowingly.
Why the hell would you verify anything unless you're selling something? So you spend time and money to impress someone online who won't likely accept the evidence anyway. For a successful daytrader, this is completely irrational. Yeah, most of my money was made daytrading.
Who would be motivated to show financial statements to anonymous dopes on the internet? SMH There has been a steady stream of these loser threads through the years. What they believe is irrelevant, nobody should care. The only reason to reply is to counter some of the negativity foisted on beginners and journeymen. I don’t encourage people to get into day trading as I know how difficult it is to master but I don’t discourage anyone who has the drive, determination and work ethic. Just understand that it will likely take longer and be more difficult than anticipated.
