So what are you up this year Sabena? We've all had big runs before, are you sure it's permanent?

I vote for the mechanical system being feasible intraday and daily. I use a purely mechanical system except for the order entry. Can't complain about the results either.:)

    Ok sabena,

How do you know when you have market "intuition", and when you don't?

  4. Firehawk,

Believing in God is a weakness of mine. I haven't even seen any proof... I would like to meet him in person and maybe enjoy a glass of beer with him. Then I will be 100% convinced. To be frank, the more I think about God, the more I believe that he doesn't exist. After all, if there was a God, why on earth would he have a bunch of raucous people standing up and singing antiquated words in his honor every Sunday. If I was a God, I would want to be honored by cute blondes making visits to heaven to meet me in person... I most definitely would not want to be honored by 60 year old grannies singing worse than a baboon's mating call.

    FireHawk,

I don't known when you have it or not but I believe have it.
I am no expert in intuition analysis....

You may never fully translate Mozart, but you can program a computer to play a piano "like Mozart." How many people do you think listening to live rendition vs. the computer can tell the difference?

Even if the computer only approximated Mozart's music by 95%, that's still pretty damn good. If Hitman is 55% shooting with 2:1 winners-to-losers, and I could find a way to model only 95% of his results, I would have a profitable system.

Just like Eric Oz hasn't fully capture Tony Oz's discretionary methods, yet he still has a profitable system based on mechanical setups, entries, and exits.

I am not saying mechanical is necessarily better, but it is a valid approach, works, and many people are making money doing it.

    Dottom,

So we agree in fact !

Yes mechanical approaches do work but I doubt Eric Oz
will ever be able to duplicate Tony Oz's trading completely....

    FireHawk,

My results are so consistent from a statistical approach
that the luck factor is excluded from the equation....
