lol to be fair I've had this idea for some time BUT he did confirm to me that it's needed, but still mad props for the detailed critiques!! Also, while the engagement is sky high the overall usage is still small and its currently costing me to run every month as it's not currently monetized and I've got no plans to do so anytime soon.

just a quick sneak-peek at the new version coming your way very soon! A few highlights: 1. enhanced price-action realism. I am now using 1 second data instead of 1 minute data for price-action. Ironically, when I compare the current state of 1 minute emulation, its scarily close to the actuals I see in the 1 second data. But now it will be near perfect. 2. I am removing the short/cover buttons as buy/sell will also handle those order types. 3. Tons of new indicators and charts annotations. Pretty much everything you need in terms of indicators, overlays and line drawing, etc 4. Each simulation will contain 5 days-prior data so you can easily analyze longer timeframes. 5. Timeframes!!! - you'll be able to view 1m,5m,15m, etc (check the screenshot)> 6. New interface which is more modern and user friendly. Hope to have this complete in a week or two! Cheers! Thought I'd post an update... simul8or is still seeing heavy development, but this update is actually about some other goodies I'd like to share: Part of what I'm working on for simul8or is a new chart and as such I ended up developing a stand-alone javascript charting library. I'll be using a more advanced version on simul8or but I've decided to release the current version as open source. Its available on either github, npm or simul8or. here's the github link: https://github.com/day-trading-simulator/javascript-stock-charts as a side note, this was almost entirely written using 'Vibe Coding', which is basically an AI agent (in this case Claude 3.7 extended) inside of a development IDE writing and editing the code for you based on your prompts. this sh*t is wild. The other one is a browser extension, that you can use here on ET or any site that has tickers on it. When enabled you can simply hover over a ticker that it highlights to get a quick quote and chart.
